That's too late. Don't wait until December.
You can login to your NJIT portal right away to view your SEVIS ID and book a visa appointment. Appointments are very limited, so I recommend that you start looking for slots immediately.

Oh, okay! In that case I'll be booking it today/tomorrow. Thank you, will update you with my status.
My counselor actually today that we're gonna take a priority visa. It will be an easy task itseems. But now, I'll ask him to do that right now.

Unfortunately, there isn't something called a "priority visa" right now. You will have to book a "normal" visa appointment.
They are mostly conducting student visa appointments and every case is an emergency now.
